Date Night with the Woods Podcast

datenightfam.org

Bre is a host on the Date Night With the Woods Podcast and co-author of the forthcoming Little Red Book of Marriage & Family. She is a servant Leader with a heart for mentoring women to grow in their faith and practically apply the Scriptures to life. She is happily married to her husband of twenty years and has three children, aged 18, 16, and 11.

Spiritual motherhood, as described in Titus 2, is the heart-to-heart discipleship where older women guide younger women by both word and example, helping them embrace God’s good design for womanhood. In a culture of busyness and distraction, Paul’s framework reminds us that women are called to love and serve their families, cultivate self-control, pursue purity, steward their homes as places of ministry, and walk in joyful submission to their husbands so that God’s Word is honored. This isn’t just for one season of life but a legacy that begins in the home, with mothers discipling daughters and daughters learning to treasure Christ, so that together we live, love, and teach God’s Word for His glory. Cost is $9.

(geared towards teens and young adults based on 2 Corinthians 10:3–6) – Description: The Christian life is a daily battle that begins in the mind, where the enemy’s lies try to distort our view of God, ourselves, and our circumstances. In 2 Corinthians 10:3–6, Paul reminds us that while we live in human bodies, our fight is spiritual and God has equipped us with powerful weapons like His Word, prayer, faith, and truth to tear down strongholds of fear, pride, and discouragement. Our call is to recognize the battle, resist lies, rely on God’s strength instead of our own, and remain faithful, resting in the assurance that Jesus has already won the victory. As we take every thought captive to Christ, we walk in freedom, obedience, and truth in a world filled with deception.

(Co-presentation with Dr. Tony Woods) In their shared session, Parenting That Honors GodTony and Bre will walk through the biblical call to raise children who live under God’s design for family and community. Using the simple and memorable framework of RAPP—respecting authority, peers, and property—they will offer practical wisdom for shaping hearts that honor Christ in everyday life. This session will encourage and equip parents to cultivate homes where godly respect becomes the foundation for lifelong discipleship.

Ginger Hubbard

Parenting with Ginger Hubbard Podcast

National Speaker | Author | Podcaster

Ginger Hubbard, bestselling author of Don’t Make Me Count to Three, Wise Words for Moms, and I Can’t Believe You Just Said That, speaks at parenting conferences and homeschool conventions across the country and co-hosts the Parenting with Ginger Hubbard Podcast. For more information visit GingerHubbard.com

Based on Ginger’s best-selling book, Don’t Make Me Count to Three!

There is far more to parenting than getting children to “act” right. We have to get them to “think” right and to be motivated out of a love of virtue rather than a fear of punishment. Ginger equips parents to reach past the outward behavior of their children and address the issues of the heart. Move beyond the frustrations of not knowing how to handle issues of disobedience and into a confident approach to raising your children.

Do you find yourself threatening, repeating your instructions, or raising your voice in an attempt to get your children to obey? Do you feel guilty because you know you should be faithfully training and instructing your children in righteousness but you aren’t sure how? Through personal experience and practical application of Scripture, Ginger encourages and equips parents in the why, when and how of biblical discipline.

Are you ever embarrassed or shocked by what comes out of your child’s mouth? Based on her newest book, I Can’t Believe You Just Said That!, Ginger provides a practical, three-step plan to reach beyond the behaviors of tongue-related struggles—such as lying, defying, and manipulating—to address your child’s heart. After all, as Matthew 12:34 tells us, “the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”

Does your child have a comeback for everything you tell him to do or always try and get the last word, even if it’s mumbled under his breath? Does he become mad and lose control when you discipline him rather than repenting? Or does he seem indifferent, giving the impression that discipline doesn’t faze him in the least? Through biblical insights and powerful drama, learn how to avoid the snares of parent-provoked anger and raise emotionally healthy children.

Twenty-Four Hours Is All We Get: Ways to Wisely Use Your Day

Homeschooling parents, come discover important ways to avoid this serious pitfall.

What Is the PQC and What It Can Do for You?

Our much appreciated Christian Heritage Parent Qualifying Course consists of eight valuable 1-hour videos & related assignments plus valuable handouts all created to help equip and encourage parents for this important role.
