Attire

  • Ladies: White blouse; ankle-length black skirt (no high slits); black hose; black dress shoes.
  • Men: White long-sleeved shirt; black pants; black socks; dark dress shoes. Bow ties will be provided.

Requirements

  • A basic ability to read music and sing parts
  • Ages 13+

Class Time

  • Two, 1-hour sessions each day

  •  Closing the General Session on Saturday

Requirements

  •  The music must be memorized before the conference
  •  Able to sing their part with confidence
  •  Follow the dress code
  •  Prompt attendance at the Rehearsal, Microphone Check, and Performance
  • Ages 6-12

Purpose and Goal

  •  For the children to enjoy an experience that will encourage them in their musical journey and to see how their singing can bless others.

Director

Rehearsal

  •  Friday: 12:45 – 1:30 PM
  •  Location: Chorale Room

Microphone Check

  •  Friday: 5:45-6:00 p.m.
  •  Location: On risers in the auditorium
  •  Singers need to be dressed in their performance attire

Performance

  • Friday: 6:20 p.m. – Assemble on the risers in the auditorium to prepare to sing
  •  Friday: 6:30 p.m. – Sing
  •  The children will be dismissed at the end of their song to join their parents.
