At fourteen years old I faced an episode of doubt in my life that lasted for fourteen years. Because of it I could not claim God’s Word as infallible nor witness boldly to anyone seeking answers about Jesus Christ. God preserved my faith through it all, but much was lost to those years lived in flimsy faith. It doesn’t have to be so for your child. As parents we have an obligation to equip, prepare, and launch our children into the world fully capable of standing against the spiritual attacks and waves of doubt that they will often face. Discover how to discern if doubt is something your child is dealing with and learn a few basic principles on how to help them overcome and live a faith-filled life, even as a youth.

– Sermon: Chuck Black – Thriving Faith in a World of Compromise

Our nation appears to be on the brink of moral bankruptcy. We see a rapid decline in morality, faith, and mutual respect coupled with an increase in perversion, crime, and violence. One doesn’t have to look far into our past to see that the trend of our nation is moving toward a serious cultural and spiritual demise. The music, books, movies, internet, and television are key indicators, and as a military officer who swore to defend this nation against all enemies foreign and domestic, it is painful to watch what was once a “nation under God” become a nation that is speedily rejecting God. This puts the followers of Jesus in quite a dilemma… how then do we as believers in Jesus Christ live a life of faith in such a compromised world? Chuck shares four fundamental truths to help guide us through the chaos.
