Attire

  • Ladies: White blouse; ankle-length black skirt (no high slits); black hose; black dress shoes.
  • Men: White long-sleeved shirt; black pants; black socks; dark dress shoes. Bow ties will be provided.

Requirements

  • A basic ability to read music and sing parts
  • Ages 13+

Class Time

  • Two, 1-hour sessions each day

Attire

  • Friday Performance
    • Girls – White blouse; Dark skirt
    • Boys – White shirt; Dark Pants

     

  • Saturday Performance
    • For this performance, you will not be required to wear the usual attire of black and white – whatever you wear on Saturday is fine.

Requirements

  • The music must be memorized before the conference
  • Able to sing their part with confidence
  • Prompt attendance at the Rehearsal, Microphone Check, and Performance
  • Follow the dress code
  • Ages 6-12

Purpose and Goal

  •  For the children to enjoy an experience that will encourage them in their musical journey and to see how their singing can bless others.

Director

Rehearsal

  •  Friday: 12:45 – 1:30 PM
  •  Location: Chorale Room, third floor, rooms 302-304.

Microphone Check for Friday’s performance

  •  Friday: 5:45-6:00 p.m.
  •  Location: On risers in the Worship Center
  •  Be dressed in their performance attire

Friday Performance

  • Friday: 6:20 p.m. – Assemble on the risers in the Worship Center to prepare to sing
  • Friday: 6:30 p.m. – Sing as the first presentation on Family Night
  • You will be dismissed at the end of your song to join your parents.

Microphone Check for Saturday’s performance with the chorale

  • Saturday: 3:30 p.m.
  • In the Worship Center

Saturday Performance

  • Saturday: 4:20 p.m. – Assemble in the Worship Center to prepare to sing.
  • Saturday: 4:30 p.m. – Sing with the chorale as the first presentation of the afternoon.
  • You will be dismissed at the end of your song to join your parents.
