Dwight Cover's Personal Bio

As one fruit of a godly upbringing, Dwight Cover sensed God’s call to pastoral ministry at age fourteen. He prepared for that at Biola University (B.A.) and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.).  After five years as an Associate Pastor in Alaska, he became Senior Pastor of Grace Fellowship in Grandview, Washington, where he served for twenty-one years. In 2009, Dwight started Household of Faith in Grandview, where he currently serves as Teaching Pastor. Dwight has also spoken at collegiate retreats, men’s conferences, Christian Heritage conferences, and Generations conferences. Thirty-five years of pastoral ministry have only served to deepen Dwight’s passion to study the Word of God, to practice it, and to equip another generation of believers to advance the gospel for the glory of God.

Dwight & Sherrill Cover’s Family Bio:

Early in Dwight and Sherrill Cover’s marriage and ministry (1986), God gave them a passion for a godly marriage and family as a fruit of and a fruit-bearing-tool of the gospel. With God’s blessing, they have been discipling and home-educating their eight children and grandchildren to trust Christ and advance His kingdom. Now thirty-two years into their marriage, Dwight and Sherrill continue trusting God to help them not only grow old together but also better reflect the covenant-love of Christ in purifying His Bride, the Church. An undying love involves much dying; but Dwight and Sherrill are thankful for the life of greater oneness that comes from learning to die to self for Christ’s sake, for each other’s sake, and for the sake of future generations.
