The Christian Heritage board is motivated by a sincere love of God and His Church and a humble desire to aid in His work by serving and ministering to the home educators of Washington State. Several of these families have spent time in the trenches fighting for the freedom to home educate. They have all spent years persevering in the homeschooling venture and have tasted its wonderful fruits.

Jason & Masha Edwards, President

Jason and Masha met in Moscow, Russia while serving together in a homeschool based ministry.  After returning to Washington and starting a family, their homeschooling journey began, but it was not until their first Christian Heritage conference that they caught the vision of family discipleship. By God’s grace this changed not only how and to what end they educated their children, but most importantly their understanding and trust in God’s sovereignty over every aspect of life and family. They have been blessed with 8 children ranging in age from 5-23 years old. Masha keeps the house humming with her many helpers and loves to find time to encourage other moms.  Jason works as a software Product Manager and also serves as a deacon at Rosedale Reformed Bible Church in Gig Harbor. It is their heart’s desire to see their children grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord and are excited to be part of an organization that shares in this purpose.

Tim & Ruth Roth, Secretary

Tim Roth and his wife, Ruth, began their homeschooling journey in 1987 and are the grateful parents of nine adult children, both single and married. They are enjoying the addition to the family of a growing number of grandchildren. Tim has served as a pastor since 1974 and currently pastors South Kitsap Alliance Church in Port Orchard, WA, where he has ministered since 1990. He enjoys filling the roles of father/grandfather, teacher, pastor, and volunteer chaplain for the local Fire Department. The Roth family actively ministers together to people in their church, in their community, and in the homeschooling community across the state.

Neil & Mary Craig

In 1982, Neil and Mary Craig began homeschooling their five children and discipled them into their adulthood. Neil and Mary are reaping the benefits of homeschooling as each of their children loves the Lord and is serving Him. They have twenty grandchildren.  Neil served for ten years at Back to the Bible Broadcast as their arranger/accompanist and Director of Music, after which the Craig family worked with Russian orphans for seven years, living in Moscow, Russia and Indianapolis, Indiana.  Music continues to be an important part of their lives and ministry. The Craigs currently reside in Spokane, Washington.

Tim & Gina Booy

Tim and Gina Booy delight in discipling, guiding, and experiencing life with their 4 children and our new son in-law. As a family, they purpose to live by their life verse, Psalms 34:3 “O, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!” With that, they have enjoyed opportunities to serve Christian Heritage through the years by volunteering in various capacities. They value serving Christian Heritage as Registration Coordinators since 2014, CH Board members since 2016, and Gina recently assumed the role as CH Speaker Team Lead. Tim works at Braun Northwest in Chehalis building emergency vehicles. Their family values Friday Night Bible study with their young marrieds, hosting game nights, adventures, learning from and encouraging others.
